Hi!

Does anybody know how to make it work in WP 2.7 or where I can find an alternative? The problem is that the sub-categories do not unfold in WP 2.7, see http://www.utrikesperspektiv.se.

Hey There,
I am using you plug-in for a web site I’m currently working on. The drop down menu works just fine. However, which ever page the use user is currently on a duplicate of the navigation item appears directly below it. I was just wondering if you had any suggestions or if you have ran into this problem before

Thanks for a good script. I have been looking for a while and yours was the best I found.

I do have one concern and after a few hours of trying to find a solution I was hoping you may have one.

With my ie6 users (about 20%), the menu seems a little off when it drops down. Hard to explain, but let me try and I will provide a link so you can take a look if you like.

When you highlight the top menu, the drop down menu looks good. As soon as you start to move the mouse down the menu, the menu changes looks or formats.

For example on my site put your mouse over the top menu for OnlineMoney. Now mouse down and highlight the subm menus and the width changes making the text go to another line if too long.

I wish it would stay the same width as when you have your mouse over the top menu item, but it changes.

This only happens in ie6 as far as I can tell. I’m sure it is a css issue, but not sure what exactly is causing it and was hoping you may know.

I am using this on a site and have it working pretty good except there seems to be a bug that makes the drop down appear and not appear randomly when rolling over. It’s not dropping down always as it should. Is there a fix for this bug to make it appear more consistently?

how do u actually add sub menu? could not figure that out..
that 3 pages + 3 another pages I would like to put under first page menu.

Hi, thanks for the plugin. But is there a way to exclude certain pages from the menu. Without that I cannot use this plug-in

Hi and Thx for this useful plugin first !

But I’m experiencing the same issue as Overshee above, plus I’d like very much some kinf of an option to exclude some pages by ID … I know it’s been a while you didn’t answer back to the comments here, so just let us all know if you have time to update this plugin in the future or not

We were able to exclude pages using Custom Fields -

Find this:

$postSQL .= ” FROM $wpdb->posts WHERE $wpdb->posts.post_status = ‘publish’ AND $wpdb->posts.post_type = ‘page’”;

Replace with:

$postSQL .= ” FROM $wpdb->posts, $wpdb->postmeta WHERE $wpdb->posts.ID = $wpdb->postmeta.post_id AND $wpdb->posts.post_status = ‘publish’ AND $wpdb->posts.post_type = ‘page’ AND $wpdb->postmeta.meta_key = ‘menu’ AND $wpdb->postmeta.meta_value = ‘yes’”;

Notice the postmeta.meta_key and postmeta.meta_value lines? Change those to whatever custom field item you want.

The menu will then only show items that are explicitly given this custom field value – thus allowing you to exclude pages.
